Why should I get insurance when I might not have an accident?

Isn't life insurance just protection against loss of life?

Life insurance is a category of insurance related to a person’s life and health. Also included in this category are protections for diagnosis of serious illness, permanent disability, expensive treatment of serious illness, and insurance with an investment element.

Why should I offer life insurance as an employee benefit?

When a severe event occurs with an employee that requires extended absence or treatment, the employer can soften that blow with this type of benefit because the employee will receive compensation. The employee’s family is also protected in this way.

Isn't it better to give the amount for the employee's insurance as a voucher for something else?
